We've done it! The first of our two end to end walks, from the most southwesterly point in Ireland at Mizen Head, to Malin Head, the most northerly point.
After a long day on Tuesday, covering about 37 km in hot sunshine, we had just 4km to go to finish yesterday. It was a lovely walk too - but we only had time for a very few photos before the rain arrived.
So it was off to Farren's, Ireland's most northerly bar, for a celebratory pint of Guinness. The only appropriate way to celebrate really!

ReplyDeleteI'm still watching, and still very envious, especially seeing your camp pictures. Tent in the wild, rest after a long day...what's not to love? Enjoy Scotland. I'll be there myself from 10th May till early June. Where will you be in three weeks? In seven weeks? Go on... hazard a vague guess at least...
