About Us

Hi, we're Neil and Tanya, and together we enjoy long distance walking. In 2014 we plan to walk the length of the British Isles, from Mizen Head in the south of Ireland to Malin Head in the north, then the length of Great Britain from John O'Groats in the north to Land's End in the south, a total of about 1600 miles, in aid of ShelterBox

Malin Head - End of Ireland

We've done it! The first of our two end to end walks, from the most southwesterly point in Ireland at Mizen Head, to Malin Head, the most northerly point.

After a long day on Tuesday, covering about 37 km in hot sunshine, we had just 4km to go to finish yesterday. It was a lovely walk too - but we only had time for a very few photos before the rain arrived.

So it was off to Farren's, Ireland's most northerly bar, for a celebratory pint of Guinness. The only appropriate way to celebrate really!

  2. Congratulations!!! One island down, one to go....

I keep thinking about you and wondering how you are getting on - and how your feet/legs/backs are faring. Hope everything is holding up. I suppose you're just about getting warmed up by now?!

    Hugs, xxx

  4. I'm still watching, and still very envious, especially seeing your camp pictures. Tent in the wild, rest after a long day...what's not to love? Enjoy Scotland. I'll be there myself from 10th May till early June. Where will you be in three weeks? In seven weeks? Go on... hazard a vague guess at least...
